ONE65 is a French bakery and cafe located near Powell Station in San Francisco. They have a large array of desserts, baked goods, macarons, chocolates, coffees, and a more limited brunch menu.

As my brunch appetizer I had some of their mini desserts and they were delicious. Their flavors included raspberry, coconut, lemon, and cherry. Each came on a small cookie and was either enrobed in chocolate or a soft texture of fruit flavor.

For my entree I got the French toast and my friend got the quiche. This French toast was the best French toast I have ever had in my life and that is really saying something considering my frequent brunch excursions and reviews. The French toast was perfectly caramelized with a crunchy texture on the outside and a soft one on the inside. It had the perfect caramel flavor to match the texture with each bite being a flavor bomb of sweet deliciousness. On top of the French toast was a scoop of vanilla cream that paired perfectly with the caramel notes. The decadence was balanced by fresh fruit, blueberries and strawberries. The whole thing was covered in what tasted like an amazing homemade caramel sauce that added the perfect accent to the dish.

The restaurant was small but had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It was the kind of place where you give your order and then take a number to your table to wait for your food. I also ordered a vanilla bean latte which was pretty good. All and all, the experience at ONE65 was excellent, with the French toast as the highlight of the meal.
